Freemac.net widget Aftermatch
I’ll now tell you the story of making Freemac widget. It was quite a very good learning experience for me actually. I learned so many techniques out of this.
Let’s begin with javascript. I used to write javascript very very long time(6-7 years I guessed) ago and I quitted because it was a very limited with weird syntax at that time. Now, I got to relearn it again. It was like wowwwwww it has evolved a lot. I can do http request with javascript(both synchronous and asynchronous ones). Freemac.net widget 0.2
So, the first one looks too ugly and it’s not quite usable. So, I beautified it and added a new feature to it. Get it here.
In this version:
-the topic will be highlighted when mouse is over it.
-you can flip to see the back(nothing’s there yet)
-the widget reload (almost)everytime you call dashboard

Freemac.net widget 0.1
I spent most of this weekend to learn how to write a dashboard. And here is the result Freemac.wdgt.zip
It looks ugly but, hey, it works. And, I’m pretty sure that since most of the people in freemac.net are either graphic designer or web master, they will be willingly to help me making this widgets looks more beautiful.(wouldn’t you?).
So, here is what I need.
- background. It’s a 300×300 px png file.

Remove iTunes Dead Tracks with ease.
I was having an idea of writing a program that would scan iTunes playlist and remove dead tracks (the items in playlist that does not actually link to a file) from my iTunes playlist and probably publish it as another donationware. Blogshares
If you have been reading this blog for a while, you might notice that there is a little banner on the bottom of the right sidebar. It belongs to the site called blogshares. The idea of this website was originally to test a theory stated that 20% or people own 80% of wealth. The origianl author Seyed Razavi wanted to test this theory wants to test this theory for blogs. That is he wanted to see that 20% of blogs really own 80% of all incoming link or not. It turns out that it works in this case as well.
